Meet the Principal: Andrew Christian

I’ve been blessed to serve Aquilla ISD since 2009, working as a teacher, coach, and administrator over the years. Each role has given me new perspectives and an even deeper appreciation for our students, our staff, and this community. Aquilla has shaped so much of who I am as an educator, and it continues to feel like home in every way. 

I’m a lifelong Central Texan, and my wife and I are raising our three kids here in the place we love. This area, this community, and the people in it mean a lot to me. That’s a big part of why I care so deeply about the work we do in Aquilla ISD. The commitment, pride, and heart that you see across our district are what make this such a special place to serve. 

This year, I’m excited to step back into the role of High School Principal. I’m looking forward to supporting our teachers, building strong relationships with students and families, and helping our campus continue to grown in all the right ways. I’m grateful for the past 16 years here, and I can’t wait to see what this school year brings. We’re going to make it a great one!
